Roumen spent two weeks in Shanghai, China. There he conducted a workshop and shared his experience and knowledge of classical string instrument making techniques.
Roumen begins work as a manager at William Harris Lee & Co.
If you don't see Roumen Raykovski in his Buffalo Grove workshop, you can find him at William Harris Lee & Company in downtown Chicago. Roumen has recently accepted the position of a manager on repair and restoration department. William Harris Lee's workshop is unique because it was modeled after the great violin shops of the 18th and 19th centuries. You can visit the workshop in Chicago's Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue.
